My Purpose for this Blog

There are many ways to love a woman, and I will not attest to being an expert. But when it comes to loving my wife I have learned a few things along the way. The purpose of this blog is not to brag about what a great husband I am, or to try and get any proverbial brownie points from my wife. I write simply because it sooths me, and because I think what I have to say might be of some use to other men who find themselves drawing a blank when it comes to romance and showing affection. Rest assured that what you read here has not come from some cheap magazine that claims you can light her fire in twelve easy steps. Every tip and story I share has been hard won by messing up at first and learning from my mistakes.  

The fact that I take time to think out my actions and plan memorable encounters with my wife does not make them mean any less. If there is one thing I’ve learned from messing things up along the way it is that love is a verb. Without actions love is nothing more than passing glance. Like a healthy garden, love needs to be fed and protected from the elements. And like the garden love also needs the weeds to be pulled so it can thrive. Love left stagnant cannot remain.

What can you expect

I will update this blog as often as I can but as yet there is no schedule. There are three types of information I hope to provide any readers of this blog. The first is helpful tips. The tips will give you a basic idea of how you can show your wife you love her, and in most cases I will include a short story about how I successfully used the tip. The second type of information will be stories about how I have messed up along the way. I think it is important to know where you’ve made mistakes in the past so you can better navigate around them in the future. Many of the mistakes I share will be from past relationships and so I want to let my wife know right now that although I do consider them mistakes I am glad they happened so I could be better prepared for you. The third type of entry you will find here will be stories about my wife and I getting to know each other. I find getting to know my wife is one of the most pleasurable parts of loving her. And as I hope you will see if you stick around long enough none of the tips and stories I share here will help you one bit if you don’t take the time to first know your wife.

So let’s get started and see where we end up. I hope my blog will help you in some way to love your wife in a way that you never thought possible.
